This class teaches good manners and responsible dog ownership. This class prepares handler and dogs for the Canine Good Citizen and provides foundation skills for competition obedience.
The Beginner Obedience Class will include:
- Accepting a friendly stranger
- Sitting politely for petting
- Appearance and grooming
- Loose lead walking
- Walking through a crowd
- Sit and down on command and staying in place
- Coming when called
- Reaction to another dog
- Reaction to distraction
- Supervised separation
- Recalls
- Heel Position
- Fronts and Finishes
For Class you will need to bring the following: Your dog should be on a leash with a collar, poop bag and dog treats.
