About Us

Since 1950, the Atlanta Obedience Club (AOC) has been a non-profit member club of the American Kennel Club. We believe that through training, the dog and handler build a bond of respect and trust that will secure the dogs place as a well behaved member of the family. Trained dogs are welcome in the home and community.

Mission

Our mission has been to hold the best AKC Obedience, Rally, Agility and Tracking events possible. We have also made it our mission to disseminate knowledge of dog training by holding classes for all levels of dog obedience. You do not have to own a pure bred dog to participate in classes or become a member of AOC. We believe all dogs deserve training and recognition for their good manners. AOC promotes cooperation and good sportsmanship among club members in both the training and exhibition of dogs.
